Event Cancellations

Dear Hooked on Hope Community:

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and challenging months that lie ahead, Hooked on Hope has cancelled all 2020 scheduled events/fundraisers.  While donations will still be accepted, appreciated and put to great use, Hooked on Hope leadership believes it would be insensitive to host the annual events.

Because of the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and community partners, Hooked on Hope is able to sustain the ‘Treatment Supports Grants Program’ at this time. The organization pledges to make every dollar stretch across Tampa Bay through 2020 and into the first quarter of 2021 (estimate).  The organization is able to continue its mission of ‘Making a world of difference right here in the Tampa Bay Communities’ because of its donors and volunteers  — the best an organization has ever known!   Please rest, take care of you, your loved ones, your community, and each other. To the healthcare teams on the front lines and behind the scenes – we honor you.

If you or someone you know is battling breast cancer and would benefit from a Treatment Support Grant, the web-based application can be found at www.hookedonhope.org.  The organization will also be ‘granting hope’ through a special initiative. A portion of all donations will be used to purchase ‘gift cards.’ These gift cards will be a supplement to grant monies, used solely to pay for office and hospital co-payments, rent/mortgage, and household utilities.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to the breast cancer patients of Tampa Bay!

Gratefully, Hooked on Hope Executive Leadership

Event Postponements

Dear Hooked on Hope Community:

This notice is to inform the Hooked on Hope community that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, currently scheduled events/fundraisers have been postponed. Specifically, the 12th Annual Pamper Party, scheduled for March 28, 2020 and the 4th Annual Golf Tournament, scheduled for May 2, 2020.

Although it is with heavy hearts that we postpone these events; it is in the best interest of all across the Tampa Bay Communities. To our beloved breast cancer patients (Princesses); we pledge a steadfast commitment to continue the work of Hooked on Hope. To our treasured sponsors, donors, and community partners, because of your ongoing generosity over the past 11 years, Hooked on Hope is able to sustain our ‘Treatment Supports Grants Program’ at this time. To the most incredible volunteers an organization has ever known, you make Hooked on Hope possible! As such, please rest, take care of you, your loved ones, your community, and each other. In closing, to healthcare teams on the front lines and behind the scenes – we honor you.

Please stay closely connected to us at www.hookedonhpe.org.

Gratefully,
Hooked on Hope Executive Leadership
